Photobiomodulation
Photobiomodulation allows the absorption of red/near-infrared light energy through the skin surface that enhances mitochondrial ATP (energy) production, cell signalling, and growth factor synthesis, and attenuates oxidative stress.
Photobiomodulation is clinically used in practice in conjunction with neurorehabilitation and nutritional support strategies to help patients recover from post-concussive disorder, stroke and various other metabolic disorders.
